Three swimming areas
- Fjällnorabadet — sandy beach, swimming jetty and a diving tower on a separate floating platform around 40 metres offshore
- Fjällnora naturist beach — swimming jetty and floating platform
- Fjällnora dog beach — a swimming jetty where dogs can join you in the water
The naturist beach at Ramsen
Fjällnora’s naturist beach is on Lake Ramsen. It has a sandy shore, jetty, grassy areas and barbecue spots where you bring your own firewood. An accessible toilet with a ramp is available.
The beach is surrounded by pine woodland, and the water becomes deep quite quickly, according to the municipality’s bathing-water information.
Winter swimming and sauna
In winter, swim in an ice hole by the wilderness sauna area at Lake Ramsen. Combine it with a wood-fired sauna for the classic Swedish contrast between heat and cold.
Nature and wildlife
The lakes are surrounded mainly by mixed woodland and herb-rich spruce forest, with large boulders, leafy clearings and pastures. The farm has cows, horses, sheep, hens, pigs and goats. In the forest you may spot roe deer, moose, hares and badgers.
